Pros:

Update - Noticeable improvements from the new management company to both the property and interaction with tenants. The majority of the issues left from the prior management have been addressed and the new management company is much more responsive to tenants and invested in making upgrades where needed.

Cons:

The building was recently purchased by W Brothers Management, comprised of three real estate/attorney brothers from Long Island. Thus far they seem similar to prior owners - not overly concerned about tenants' needs or upkeep of the building, despite their $27 million purchase. Have a look at the pictures of our basement, where the washer/dryer are located.Since my last review, I (and other residents) have made multiple additional complaints about noise, filth, etc, with slow, minimal, ineffective response from owners/management. The superintendent is great, but there's only so much he can control with owners/management that don't care. It's very unfortunate because the building itself is lovely.

Cons:

Is there an option for negative stars? This building is rodent infested and disgusting. Management is horrible. Rat poop is everywhere and rats are dead in the walls. That's why the lobby smells like dead bodies. Leasing agents and management are deceptive.
