Cons:

Nice, quiet, well-maintained building. However there are quite a few issues to note under the surface. First, the doormen are not professionally dressed and literally won't ever open the door if you had a bag full of hands. Second, I had a big issue with the corrupt maintenance staff which basically broke into my apartment when I was not there as I was moving out, ate my food and smoked marijuana in my apartment. Fortunately I was able to work it out with management, otherwise I would've filed a report with the NYPD. Third, the value is just not there, for about 15% less you can get a building with a lot more amenities. Fourth, the garage below is leased out to a third-party company which will be ending their contract in 2018 and only doing valet for the hotel across the street. Good luck finding parking after that on this busy street! I would look for other amenity-rich buildings and use this as a very last resort.

Cons:

1. BUILDING HAS MAJOR STRUCTURAL ISSUES: I do not recommend this apartment for what can be only seen as a fundamental structural issue. A pipe inside the wall has continued to vibrate, rattle and make noise throughout the past couple months -- I cannot count the number of nights I've had trouble sleeping. Despite repeated efforts on my end, this major problem was neither fixed nor addressed. This pipe goes through MULTIPLE FLOORS, so I am confident that I'm not the only resident having this problem unless all units on my vertical line are vacant.2. SOME REVIEWS BELOW ARE BY BROKERS: Take reviews below with more than a grain of salt. One among the below reviewers personally showed me around the apartment. In fact, according to Yelp's "review guidelines," she should not be posting reviews about Crescent Club due to her "Conflicts of interest."3. Professional site employees: the security guards and repairmen are professional, cordial and responsive. But for these folks, Crescent Club would be getting fewer stars.

Pros:

I recently scheduled an appointment to view units at Crescent Club and I would have to say, the building and amenities are beyond what I expected. The building was very clean and well kept and even the unit itself looked great. The agent was very helpful and was able to provide a plethora of knowledge regarding the utilities, amenities package and even information about the management. Unfortunately, the unit I wanted was scooped up by another interested (and lucky) tenant so I do not have the privilege of living there yet. I will definitely be returning for a unit when one comes available!!!

Pros:

My husband and I moved in last October, we were brand new to New York City; arrived directly from Europe. Honestly, we couldn't have been any luckier! We are very happy here at the Crescent Club. We have great Management who insist on a clean, bright, functional building. We absolutely loved the fresh flowers and green trees at the entrance of the elegant lobby after our long, long winter months. The Cleaning Staff keeps the Lobby Lounge, Elevators, Residential Lounge, Fitness Centre and Pool Area spotless. Great job. Everything really is clean and cared for.The guys on the door (The Doormen/ Concierge) greet us by name, each morning and greet us when we return. They are ready with our deliveries and parcels (They either drop us an email or call that we have a delivery downstairs )Now that we are having warmer weather we get a chance to meet a few of our neighbors for drinks and dinner, who are mostly young professionals working in the City from all over the world. We have young families and Seniors too; a happy mix!We feel safe and sound here in New York City thanks to Crescent Club. We would definately recommend living here in up and coming LIC; really one stop from Midtown Manhattan on the N Q R (7 takes you to Grand Central in 3 stops!!!) If you are LUCKY enough to find an available Unit here......take it.......and we will see you at the pool!

Pros:

Been living here for about a month now and everything is fantastic. Staff are nice and helpful. Building is very well kept. Amenities are great! Management company gets back to you within an hour with any request. Much different than other luxury buildings. This one is nicer as there are not a million apartments in it and the staff really goes out of their way to get to know you and make sure your getting the full service building experience. Management, Super, Concierge, Porters, and so forth are exceptional.
