For example, if the rent for an apartment is $2,000 a month, the applicant(s) must demonstrate no less than $86,000 in annual income ($2,000 X 43) Additionally, we review an applicant’s capacity to pay the rent after meeting their current monthly debt obligations.

If you have a housing voucher, you are required to have an income that is 40 times your portion of the monthly rent and have a credit score of at least 650 with acceptable credit history. For example, if your portion of the rent is $500, the applicant(s) must document no less than $20,000 in annual income ($500 X 40).
